Katherine Plominski-Gloede is Of Counsel at Falkenberg Ives and a member of the firm's commercial litigation, labor and employment, healthcare litigation, and professional liability practices.
In addition, Ms. Gloede has substantial experience providing a full spectrum of labor and employment-related services to both individuals as well as employer-clientele. She has successfully represented clients in various administrative, state, and federal proceedings in cases including but not limited to discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour claims, and labor/union negotiations.
Ms. Gloede develops good working relationships with her clients and works closely with them to achieve cost-effective solutions to complex legal issues.
While Ms. Gloede has experience in all aspects of litigation, she is also passionate about alternative dispute resolution. She is a Panelist for the American Arbitration Association, a certified Mediator, and a member of the Association of Attorney-Mediators.
Education/Bar Admissions
Ms. Gloede received a B.A. in English Literature and Rhetoric & Composition from the University of Illinois-Champaign, where she graduated early after completing an internship with the British Parliament. She received her J.D. in 2008 from University of Wisconsin-Madison where she was a Law-in-Action Merit Scholar and received an award for Leadership, Character, Scholarship and Service.
Ms. Gloede was admitted to the Wisconsin bar in 2008, and the Illinois bar in 2010. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.
She is also a member of the Federal Trial Bar.
